A New Ohio State Record may have just been harvested 2016

It all started when Josh Kraus posted the picture of the monster on Instagram with the caption
“got a monster today thank you, Lord!!! Buck of a lifetime been waiting all season for this.”
The green score of this behemoth is said to be 218″
The buck will still have to wait the mandatory 60-day drying period before it can be officially scored.

The buck can’t officially be scored until February 17th following the mandatory 60-day drying period.  Unofficial scores came in at 218 inches gross, and 201 inches net typical – narrowly missing out on becoming the largest typical whitetail ever taken in the United States if the scores holds close.
