Police are investigating possible large cat sightings in Winslow Twp., Camden County. NJ

Police say there have been no reports of contact between people and the animals.

"At this time we don't believe that the animals pose a threat to people but we suggest that everyone use sound judgment and reasonable precautions with their children, pets and themselves," Winslow Twp. police said in a news release Monday morning.

They ask anyone with sightings or evidence of the animals to contact Winslow Township's Animal Control at 609-567-0700 ext 1500.

Update On Bear Attack in Central Pennsylvania

A young hunter is recovering from injuries after she was attacked by a bear in Clinton County.
Kyle Courter said Monday afternoon started off as a normal hunting day for his family. He, his dad, stepsister Camille and a friend hunted for deer at their family farm near Lock Haven. When the group saw three bear cubs run by, Courter said things got scary.
“I heard sister screaming and I went running. By time I got there I heard a couple of gunshots,” Courter said. The black bear charged at Camille  and attacked her.

Pennsylvania Teen Attacked by Black Bear!

 PORTER TWP., CLINTON COUNTY - State Police said the PA Game Commission is investigating a black bear attack near Lock Haven.
According to troopers at the Lamar Barracks, 18-year-old Camille Bomboy, no address given, was hunting deer at a family farm Monday afternoon when she was charged by a large black bear. The farm is located in Mill Hall on Jacksonville Road.

They said she was "driving" deer when she saw 3 cubs. That's when she turned around and saw the large bear.
Police said Bomboy suffered multiple deep tissue bites to her arms and shoulders and a deep cut on her head. The teen's step-father was able to scare the bear off.

She was taken to Lock Haven Hospital then transferred to Geisinger Medical Center where she underwent surgery. No word on her condition.

Two large Bucks are back in the wild after falling into an abandoned well

Two large deer are back in the wild after falling into an abandoned well in Susquehanna County.
A wildlife conservation officer says a hunter found the 8-point bucks Tuesday, stuck about seven feet down in a well off Jennings Road near Springville.
Several people helped free the deer by looping a rope around their antlers and pulling them to safety.
The game commission officer says the abandoned well in Susquehanna County has been filled in.

“Oh man, it was crazy. You couldn’t even imagine or dream nothing like that.”
